1. What StarAgent does

StarAgent provisions a phone number that monitors your business line for missed calls. When a call goes unanswered, we log the caller information, optionally record a voicemail, transcribe it, and surface everything in your dashboard. You can also receive notifications via webhook.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up. Each account is tied to one business and one email address. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

3. Billing

StarAgent is a paid subscription billed monthly through Stripe. Your card will be charged at the start of each billing cycle. Prices may change with 30 days notice before your next billing date. See our refund policy for cancellation and refund details.

4. Acceptable use and SMS compliance

You agree not to use StarAgent for anything unlawful, to harass others, to send unsolicited messages, or to interfere with the service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

By using our automated SMS features, you agree to comply with all applicable messaging regulations (including A2P 10DLC and CTIA guidelines). You may not use StarAgent to promote "High-Risk" categories including payday loans, cryptocurrency, third-party lead generation, debt collection, or illegal substances (SHAFT). Any carrier fines (up to $10,000 per violation) incurred due to your message content will be passed directly to you.

5. Your data

You own your data. We store call records, recordings, and transcriptions on your behalf. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days. See our privacy policy for full details on data handling.

6. Third-party services

StarAgent relies on Twilio for telephony and Stripe for payments. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for downtime or issues caused by third-party providers.

7. Availability and uptime

We aim to keep StarAgent available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for missed calls or lost data resulting from outages, whether on our end or from our providers.

8. Limitation of liability

StarAgent is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
